I'm John Prejean, the founder of Guardian Computer. In 1996, my wife, Jean, and I started this company with the goal of balancing work and family life. While staying home with our young sons, I began Guardian Computer as a one-man consultancy. Over the years, we have grown into a managed service provider serving clients across the United States.
The name “Guardian Computer” holds special meaning for me. It reflects my role as a guardian, not just to my children but also to our clients' IT needs. This name embodies the origins and ethos of our company.
Jean was instrumental from the beginning. In 2000, she joined the business full-time, marking the start of our expansion. Her dedication and expertise have been key to our growth and success.
Our commitment to family was crucial from the start, and now we extend that commitment to our employees by fostering a family-friendly environment. We understand the importance of balancing personal and professional lives and strive to support our team in achieving that balance.
Today, we specialize in industries like healthcare, professional services, and turnaround management. We're known for our disaster recovery expertise, particularly in hurricane-affected areas like our hometown of New Orleans. That commitment to reliability is a cornerstone of our business.
